Camp Rock

It’s incredible to think that camp is almost halfway through the season! Our campers have been enjoying days full of activities, including swimming, painting, archery, yoga and much more. Each day brings new adventures and smiles, creating unforgettable memories for everyone involved.

At Courageous Acres, we strive to offer a unique and inclusive environment where every camper can thrive. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that each activity is not only fun but also enriching, helping campers to build confidence, develop new skills and create memories. The laughter and joy heard throughout our campgrounds is a testament to the positive impact our program has on the lives of our participants.

This year, we are grateful for the enhancements we’ve made, including our new fully accessible fire pit that was made possible by the Toledo Community Foundation, Anderson’s Fund Grant. Campers have been enjoying many evenings of stories, smiles s’mores and friendship around the campfire.

CCS is having a dog swim! Bring your furry friend to splash around in our Olympic-size pool or run through wooded trails! At just $10 a dog, this includes a hot dog lunch for two and a sample of our homemade Courageous Canine Creations dog treats– baked with love by individuals with disabilities enrolled in our adult day support program.
