CCS is having a dog swim! Let your furry friend splash around in our Olympic-size pool or run wild through a wooded trail. Hot dog lunches provided!
Grab your bike, Jeep, or anything with wheels, and join us for five stops around town during the 8th annual Courageous Poker Run. The best hand wins a prize, and there will be a party at the Whitehouse American Legion.
Our annual Awards Gala Banquet is CCS’s biggest event of the year, every year. It’s one night of glamor, fun, live entertainment, and celebrating the best advocates for disability rights. This is a charitable fundraiser that plays a large part in funding our programs.
People First of Toledo, in partnership with four other local self-advocacy groups and the University of Toledo Disability Studies program, is holding a conference! It will cover topics important to the disability community as presented by self-advocacy leaders.
Our self-advocacy group meets every month to discuss disability topics, connect with each other, and learn more about how to be better advocates for ourselves and for others.
We need to keep our camp maintained and clean after a whole summer of fun. We have two Saturdays dedicated to this every spring, with dates TBD.
Enter to win a weekend stay at the Cannaley Treehouse Village!
Our summer camp program runs for three full months. Our day camps welcome disabled and non-disabled children, and our overnight camps offer a real recreation opportunity for adults. CCS prides itself on giving quality care to every single one of our campers. All camp activities are fully inclusive and accessible for everybody.
