We’re looking for nurses! RNs and LPNs are encouraged to apply, but if you don’t have those certifications, we’ll train you as a delegated nurse! Have you ever thought about getting all the way up to your Level 3 medical certification? Now is the time!
Nobles Memorial Poker Run
Jonathan Nobles was a beloved camper and friend, who passed away last year. To honor his memory, our tenth annual poker run is now the Nobles Memorial Poker Run. Join us on your bikes to pay tribute with the ride of a lifetime.
Courageous Connections
Our adult day support program is expanding! We are open to taking on new participants. Courageous Connections is an active, high-energy day program for adults looking to build up their job skills and make a difference in their communities. Activities include volunteering, regular outings, and a brand-new dog treat business.
Pizza Fundraiser
Our self-advocacy program, People First of Toledo, is doing the Domino’s pizza fundraiser! For just $20, you can get a card that gives you a free second large pizza with every large pizza you buy. Since that’s about the cost of one, the card pays for itself the first use. Ordering ten pizzas? Get ten more identical ones, free.
Funds raised through this will support our one-day self-advocacy conference in November.
Dipping Dogs
CCS is having a dog swim on August 18th! Unleash your furry friend in our Olympic-size pool and enjoy a hotdog lunch for two. All dogs present will also be given samples of our brand-new Courageous Canine Creations dog treats, made with love by our adult day support program.
